Know the psychology behind tile shapes and colors

Have you ever entered a room and immediately felt a mood shift? Have you ever felt at peace and comfort? or Have you felt invigorated and delighted? Or Have you found yourself being suddenly excited and overwhelmed?

The one significant element to be kept in mind while purchasing tiles is their size and color. They come in a massive variety of distinct shapes and colors. People mostly opt to choose their tiles relative to the space they’re being lain; for example, big room big tiles and this isn’t incorrect, but different sizes influence the overall appearance or understanding of a room, they can make a small room look big and vice versa.

Interestingly, the color and shape of the space, particularly the tile floor and wall, may influence your mood and the look of the space. Colors and shapes have been scientifically validated to impact our moods, actions, and stress levels. As a result, it’s crucial to take your time choosing tile colors, patterns, and shapes so that you may attain precisely what you want from the rooms in your home.

The job of selecting suitable tiles is exciting, but it may also be intimidating due to the vast number of alternatives available. You want the tiles to go with the rest of your decor, but you also expect something that makes you feel at ease. Tile psychology is a great interior design technique that takes into report the wide range of feelings that each color and shape evokes.

In this blog post, we’re going to explain how the shapes and colors of the tiles you are choosing can influence the perception of a room.

1. Big tiles make a room look bigger and vice versa

Generally, larger tiles like 60x60cm take up more space. It makes furniture and fixtures look smaller and more spaced out due to their size when compared to the big tiles and will make the room appear much more open. The grout lines also assist amplify this effect, as they highlight the huge tiles and the large space that they cover. It’s vital to take into account that this won’t work on small and tight spaces such as a small bathroom or a cloakroom/porch, the reason being there won’t be enough space to spread the number of tiles required to create this effect for people to see it.

Similarly, smaller tiles take up less space which means your furniture and fixtures will look bigger when compared to these smaller tiles. Though, try to resist tiles smaller than 30x60cm because of the number of grout lines you’ll have. It can make spaces look overwhelming and busy.

2. Placement of tiles

If you have a gallery kitchen or if your kitchen is a little smaller, an amazing way of making it appear bigger is by trying wooden effect tiles horizontally from your door. Because of the direction, they’ll seem to stretch the gap between work surfaces allowing the room to appear larger than it is. Moreover, if you set them vertically they’ll seem smaller as it gives the effect of squeezing the room.

3. Bright color makes a room appear large and illuminated

Choosing light-colored tiles is an incredible and trendy way of opening your room up and making it seem larger. With the help of these brighter colors, your room will appear more spacious as more light will highlight the gaps between your fixtures and furnishings and make the room look less busy.

You can also combine natural light to help enhance this effect, as it will support the effect of spacing things out. Natural light goes nicely with light-colored tiles, it will highlight any type of pattern in its design and if the tile has a gloss finish it will reflect the light around the room filling it with light.

4. Tile colors affect the vibe

Varied colors evoke various emotions and influence the vibe of the home. The color blue results in a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. It’s also a suitable shade for bringing out a ‘beachie’ vibe. Cleanliness, purity, freshness, and simplicity are typically correlated with white-colored tiles. Red colors are greatly accurate for the kitchen and dining area in the home due to their ability to increase our metabolism and pulse rate. Turquoise and green are the colors that depict nature, harmony, happiness, and emotional safety. Colors like yellow, orange, and gold represent sentiments of joy, inventiveness, success, and determination. Thus, it is important to choose tile colors for different rooms of your home wisely.

5. Psychology of tile shapes

Different shapes of tiles affect and influence the people in the home and the makeover of the space. The triangle and the square are the majorly used shapes to construct man-made objects. They symbolize safety, equilibrium, and stability. The circle showcases the cycle of life. It evokes a carefree and happy feeling when staring at it.

Squared or rectangular tiles are the greatest and the simplest to the eye. Many home decorators may be searching for more excitement and may select some extraordinary shapes for the tiles and others are looking for squares and rectangles. There can be various ways of putting square interlocking floor tiles. Another name for the diagonal configuration is known as the diamond square layout. If you are spreading your lock tiles and are in a rush this is not the way to go. Diamond patterns do add visual attention when everything else in the room is square or rectangular shaped such as the cabinets and appliances.

Be mindful that determining the shape and in which direction to put your floor tiles is just as significant as their color.

Know how tiles help the allergy sufferers in your home

Anyone who suffers from allergies understands the obstacles of allergy season, but while we are inclined to speculate the culprits as one who is living outside, numerous allergens can be found straight inside your house. Your home’s flooring, especially, can endorse allergies, with various types of flooring sheltering dust mites and other allergens, establishing an environment supporting mold growth, off-gassing toxic chemicals that worsen allergies, and more.

Allergy sufferers may believe that they have no place to flee away during allergy season. While the outdoors can be overseen by trees, grass, and pollen, the indoors also have poor air quality concerns.

If you are one who never had any allergies, you might not be aware of the running nose, itchy eyes, and sore throat that can come with it. To a non-allergy sufferer, for selecting tiles for the home, they can go for any type of tile without any second thought. But for those who are impacted by allergies, the tiles choosing process takes on a whole new different meaning.

What can be done?

One of the terrible culprits in allergy magnets for your home is carpeting. If your home has wall-to-wall carpeting and you are living with someone suffering from allergies, you could unintentionally be the one making their allergies or asthma horrible.

Even if you are practising daily vacuuming, carpets can pick up and hold more dust and allergens compared to a hardwood or laminate floor. Each carpet loop can shelter dust, allergens, and animal hairs that can generate allergies.

In addition to catching the allergens, when you walk on the carpet, vacuum, or disturb the carpet in any way, you can transmit more allergens back into the air. That’s why many physicians suggest that people with extreme allergies or asthma get their wall-to-wall carpeting eliminated. While carpet is a noticeable aggravator of allergies, fortunately, ceramic tile does not develop or house any allergens, which results in better indoor air quality.

As ceramic tile is a hard-fired surface and inorganic, it is free of allergens, which means that allergens such as dust, dirt, and pollen can’t penetrate ceramic tile. In spite, allergens settle on the tile surface, which can be easily wiped away. Ceramic tile’s nonporous feature also makes the growth of mold, mildew, bacteria, fungi, and other irritants inhospitable.

More benefits of ceramic tiles include :

1. No VOCs

Volatile organic compounds (or VOCs) are chemicals that can be found in multiple distinctive materials in our homes (including many flooring types) that are emitted as gases. VOCs can cause many unpleasant health effects and are a concern for allergy sufferers and non-sufferers as well.

The reason that ceramic tile is manufactured at extremely high temperatures and all organic contaminants are decomposed and are thus inorganic, ceramic tile releases no VOCs when compared to some non-ceramic types of flooring. Families can be ensured that ceramic tile won’t make asthma symptoms much worse or contribute to the increment of asthma in young children.

2. Cost-Effective

Ceramic tile is one of the most affordable flooring materials, beginning at well below $5 per square foot for budget-friendly tile and DIY installation. However, as you roll towards better-looking tiles and professional installation, tile flooring can easily cost much or even more than good hardwood flooring.

You get a broad range of choices with ceramic tiles, and all of them might be fitting in your budget. Therefore, if you are looking for an affordable and durable flooring option for your home, ceramic tiles are your definite solution.

3. Scratch and Water Resistant

These tiles retain their texture for a longer duration of time which is one of the main benefits of the tiles. However, both, the grace and the value of your home will be maintained.

Ceramic tiles are greatly resistant to moisture and water which is a prominent benefit for homeowners. If you go for glazed ceramic flooring tiles, you may get the advantage of a protective layer that is coated on the material, which will make it resistant to water and stains.

4. Easy Maintenance

Easy maintenance is one of the major advantages of Ceramic tiles. If you are a busy person, or someone who doesn’t like things that require heavy maintenance and that too frequently, ceramic tiles are a true fit for you.

Just a mop and a vacuum, and your tiles will seem to be as pristine and reflective as water. Most people prefer these tiles as they are easily manageable to maintain, and barely require any sort of extravagant efforts from the homeowners to keep them clean.

5. Durable

Ceramic tiles are incredibly durable. These tiles have the efficiency to remain in their best form for a longer duration of time. If installed correctly, ceramic tiles can be your best companion for many years and can last up to 10-20 years and longer if maintained properly. Ceramic flooring is very difficult, and the tiles are hard to crush or break. However, in case of a single tile cracks because of heavy impact, it’s easy to replace.

Breathe Easy With Ceramic Tile

Whether it’s you who suffers from allergies or any of your family members, be mindful of flooring with ceramic tiles the next time you reach for the tissue box to deal with disturbing allergies.

Therefore, Ceramic tile is a nice preference for anyone who has allergies, or is worried about their own or their children’s health or wants to enhance the air quality in their home. And while healthy choices can sometimes sacrifice aesthetic appeal, this isn’t the case with ceramic tile, which is available in a broad variety of sizes, shapes, colours, and textures to deliver the standard aesthetic for every space.

It was our ‘HEALTH’.

I am not considering the people who were responsive towards their soundness, ate nourishing meals, and rehearsed diurnal exercise. But the generality of youngsters who haven’t had a single contemplation in the matter of their fitness or the ones who gazed at their tum with some remorse and desired to slim-trim it as well but were too indolent to either warm-up or surrender processed food.

It is also literal that many of us attempted to ingest nutritious persistently, initiated sweating day-to-day but all the determination to do so ceased in barely 7-8 days as the agony of being distant from our beloved viands, indulging our body in those intolerant lifts and moves was way too profound. Hence, in some or the other manner we all have been in such circumstances and are relatable.

Use this formula to determine whether you fall under the category of obese or not. And if yes, try to do something about it. | Photo Credit : Google

Why discuss ‘OBESITY’ now?

Don’t comprehend me unethical, I am not here to body-shame anyone or infuse you guys with self-accusation or disgrace heeding your body. Looking stout and having a relatively chubby physique is a discrete subject besides getting obese day by day. Your appearance owing to corpulence doesn’t matter but what if it affects your health in a considerably pessimistic means?

We all are cognizant of what complications can obesity foster and why it is minacious.

Obesity comes with a whopping threat of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, stroke, and a foundation for numerous other severe disorders.

Even though it existed prior to coronavirus, it makes noticeably more sense to talk about it these days as lockdown introduced amid pandemic generated a perilous aura for the cultivation of varied customs that contributes to obesity. Apart from teenagers, obesity conditions have also aggravated among children to a greater extent.

Why is it mandatory to reduce ‘OBESITY’?

Before I bring forward what I verily want to convey by dint of this write-up I must articulate that it’s not solely the virus we should be worried of yet eating, lifestyle, and modifications interloped due to isolation matters too. Recent researches have indicated that obesity is a devastating risk factor for COVID-19 positive sufferers also. It makes the recuperation from the virus parlous.

You also need to go back and recall once how rude you have been to your own health in the past days when you tend to over-eat and consumed unbalanced food, which may have now led you in obesity and lifestyle diseases.

Additionally, we youngsters stay awake night long whether chatting with somebody or scrolling social media feed or whatever the reason may be but the point is it is hampering our sleeping time and process. Moreover, while watching our favorite shows or series we consume sugary drinks and junk food many times which leads to weight gain, fatty liver, and diabetes. Now tell isn’t there any need to follow some healthy practices also to reduce these effects and keep the lifestyle in balance?

Some tips to adopt healthy practices to reduce ‘OBESITY’

  • It is not necessary that you follow a strict schedule that includes typical balanced eating and harsh exercises. It’s just that adopt little healthy habits along with current lifestyle and try to exercise daily most probably for 30 minutes or at least 10 minutes every day for sure.
  • For some motivation, you can play some songs during a workout suiting your moods such as Soft songs, Romantics, Hip Hop, Folk or Acoustic, Punjabi, Rocking, Party songs, or Workout. It’s a myth that only workout songs will boost your motivation rather the best option is to play songs depending on your mood.
  • You can also track your exercise performance, water intake, and calorie consumption so far using some apps such as Healthify Me, Nike Run Club, etc. It will help you monitor your growth and will boost your confidence.
  • If you are not a workout person try to balance your diet because exercise contributes only 30% to your fitness, 70% being the percentage for healthy food intake. Add on some fruit and veggies too in your diet. Drink tons of water. Try to eat less junk and consume more protein.
  • Also, if you can practice yoga or aerobics daily along with it, there is no better thing than this. It will not only make you fit but remove all your anxiety, boredom, overthinking habit, and will provide you a quality time utilization.
  • Moreover, you should also try to get at least 7 hours of sleep at night. Less sleep also leads to obesity.
  • Take less stress. In stress you over-eat which further leads to obesity again.
  • Reduce your screen time as much as possible. Take a 5-minute break after every hour when you are in front of the screen. It will not only be beneficial for your eyes but will also prevent you from over-eating and getting obese.

These small steps will make a huge difference in the long run. Our body is designed to incline more towards lazy things but your inner motivation can help you achieve whatever you want. Take these healthy practices as a challenge, follow them for 21 days, and turn them into a habit. Our body is like a clay, it will take a shape whatever you will give it. Take it as a motivational post or whatever you want but you should do it for yourself anyhow. Thus, don’t let your body be a victim of extreme laziness and obesity. It’s the worst illness. Start eating healthy and exercise daily 🙂

Various other applications of porcelain tile include bathroom or kitchen tile, high-traffic areas, and also kitchen backsplashes. The massive shortcoming with porcelain tile is that installation can be complicated as the tile is stronger and made up of more dense material than ceramic, and needs a specialty tool that is a diamond blade wet saw.

3. Glass Tile

When compared to other tiles, glass tiles retain the greatest degree of stain resistance quality, even red wine or any acidic foods like lemon and vinegar can be wiped up easily without any strong staining. A probable complication is that glass tile has relatively eased to chip and break if any article is fallen over it, so this type of tile acts best for the wall. Weaknesses of resin tiles include a tendency to chip, and this type of tile can also turn yellow over time, primarily when exposed to the sun.

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT COVID-19 INSURANCE POLICY IN INDIA

Getting a comprehensive health insurance policy is quite expensive and may also not serve the purpose due to a longer waiting period compared to a Corona-specific plan.

The fear of highly infectious Novel Coronavirus Covid-19 has made Indians rush to take a health insurance cover, who earlier were reluctant to take such covers. According to a survey conducted by Max Bupa, as much as 71 per cent of respondents now want to take a health insurance plan.

While getting a comprehensive health insurance policy is quite expensive, a new policy may also not serve the purpose of covering Covid-19-related expenses due to a longer waiting period compared to a Corona-specific plan.

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has taken many timely measures. Several guidelines have been issued by the insurance regulator with the objective of ensuring a seamless claim resolution process, much to the relief of policyholders of health insurance covers.

One of such measures is the instruction to the insurance companies to issue Corona-specific policies with several standardised guidelines within a specific period.

CORONA KAVACH AND CORONA RAKSHAK

Time and again, the regulator has confirmed that existing health plans take care of the hospitalisation arising out of Covid-19. Yet, consumers were earlier unable to recover all expenses borne in connection with Covid-19 treatment.

To resolve this issue, IRDAI mandated all health and general insurers to offer Corona Kavach – a reimbursement and indemnity based standardised health insurance policy. Simultaneously, insurers have been provided the option of rolling out Corona Rakshak – a single premium benefit-based product.

The IRDAI has also directed that the pricing of the premium for both the short term plans would be on a pan India basis as opposed to zone-wise pricing. While only the hospital bills are reimbursable under Corona Kavach, the entire sum insured is payable under Corona Rakshak.

Corona Kavach is offered both on an individual and family floater basis. On the other hand, Corona Rakshak is available only on an individual basis. These are the noteworthy distinctions between the two short period products.

In its recent guidelines, the insurance regulator has clarified that Covid-19 treatment availed at government recognised temporary hospitals or make-shift hospitals will be covered under health policies. Previously, aggrieved consumers had raised complaints against some insurers for refusing to settle claims for Covid-19 hospitalisations at temporary or make-shift hospitals. The treatment of temporary and make-shift facilities as equivalent to hospitals regardless of the definition of hospital in the policy contract is advantageous and favourable to customers.

A drastic shift in the mindset towards health insurance has been witnessed in recent times. IRDAI has introduced a slew of promising measures amid the Covid-19 surge. Given the current trajectory of the novel pandemic, the customer centric approach adopted by the insurance regulator and insurers is a welcome move. Insurance is a must have in today’s world and the pandemic is a caveat to those who do not have a basic health plan. Bringing the uninsured and underinsured citizens within the insurance net is of overriding priority.

Health covers exclusive to the pandemic are especially beneficial to those who do not have any insurance coverage. However, it must be noted that a personal health insurance cover offers comprehensive protection and is highly imperative. As additional protection, a Covid specific plan is helpful in supplementing regular health policies. The high hospitalisation costs associated with the virus has resulted in an uptake in the purchase of health insurance covers. It is high time to realise that health insurance is a long term investment.

SOME FACTORS TO CONSIDER IN MIND WHILE LOOKING FOR SATISFYING INSURANCE POLICY

Interestingly, typical hallmark features of health plans such as portability, renewability, migration and payment of premium in installments are inapplicable to these products. Remember, the policy effectively expires on the exhaustion of the sum insured and cannot be revived thereafter. In fact, the tenure of the policies range from 3.5 months to 6.5 months to 9.5 months.

The plans cover co-morbidities (pre-existing ailments) and are beneficial to those, who are at higher risk of getting infected. Insurers, however, are entitled to exercise their discretion in underwriting the policy and in determining the pricing. More importantly, the existence of specific adverse health conditions may result in a rejection of the proposal by some insurers.

Opting for a plan with a longer tenure is suitable, keeping in mind the initial waiting period, risk of community spread of the virus, the short tenure and non-renewable nature of the products. Age, number of dependents, health status etc ought to be duly factored in when deciding the sum insured.

In that case, you might come up with extensive research on the internet resulting in no outcome or ending up hiring an interior designer, which will certainly burn down a hole in your pocket.

There are way better efficient and budget-friendly alternatives, for example, you can just go through this blog post to know several and crucial points to consider when you have to select the right tiles for your home. Most of the times style and design are repeatedly ignored to accomplish a practical, functional, and durable layout that is easy to clean and maintain. Whereas, with a little planning and some design considerations, you can build a functional home full of environment that looks and feels amazing to be in.

1. Setting the Budget

All the vivid tiles and interiors look too stunning but you might not have seen the price tag yet. The major and primary step should be to fix a budget that how much you are ready to invest in tiles. Once you have the figures in front of you, selecting tiles would be a lot easier task. Also, if you intend to choose little classy vitrified shiny tiles, you should not resist R.B. Tiles which is the best tile seller in Delhi and has a vast range of affordable tiles to select from!

2. Be mindful of the type of tile you want

There are various types of tile which include ceramic, porcelain, composite stone, natural stone, glass, mosaic, and 3D. Several aspects to assess when preferring a tile type are durability, water resistance, slip wear ratings, maintenance, stain/scratch resistance, warranty, and appearance.

3. Size of the Tile

Another significant element that has to be considered is the size of the tiles. Changing the tiles of a particular space will require size and the number of tiles needed. Once you are aware of the size and other prerequisites, you are all set to grab the tiles. However, square tiles are a nice all-rounder, rectangular tiles can be spread in a vertical or horizontal direction to improve the space in your bathroom – developing the delusion of more space.

4. Tile colour

The fundamental rule for tile colors is that brighter colors give the impression of more space while darker colors give the impression of less space. Though, dark-colored tiles can be incredibly mood-enhancing, cultivating a warm, intimate space. Grout color should match the colors of the tile while grout width should be least and thus, should be of less distraction.

5. Pick up a special “wow factor” tile

These are special tiles that may be positioned in a small or large area somewhere within the overall tiled space. These tiles are generally graceful, elite, and luxurious high-end tiles that might catch someone’s attention due to its unique color, texture, or pattern. These special tiles can compensate for a basic tile layout that needs mood.

To conclude, now that you have the top 5 pointers to begin the tiles selection process, another step will be a cakewalk for the home of your dreams.

Smoothies: Energy to start a new day!

Every new day brings new challenges, new problems, and new goals to us. To face the day with the utmost power and less fatigue all we need is a high dose of energy which can be easily obtained from fruits and vegetables. But what if one like me don’t enjoy them eating naturally? In this case, SMOOTHIE mode is the best alternative.

I usually prefer smoothie as breakfast now and then also. When I used to go to college (before corona hit), I hardly had time to eat in the morning. So, I used to follow the whole 5-minute process of making and drinking a smoothie. It not only saved me from heading to college with an empty stomach but also provided me the energy to face the working day.

You can also have it as a breakfast or as an afternoon snack to get through the last stretch of the day or anytime you need that extra boost of energy because you can always carry it with you in a portable container.

One more reason, I am a bit smoothie obsessed because  I am super lazy to make those delicious yet tough, unhealthy, and time-consuming dishes. But making a smoothie is just a 2-minute process. Moreover, between this heat and humid temperature + summer produce at its peak, swapping out a meal or two with a smoothie isn’t the worst idea.

And that’s all why I want to throw together these quick go-to smoothie recipes that are super easy to make at home. Now whip out your blender and let’s load it with fruit and veggies.

1. Mango Paradise

If you enjoy sweeter things in life, you can opt for a smoothie like ‘Mango Paradise’. Mango is a fruit rich in magnesium and minerals that help in cellular energy production. This smoothie packs one mango, one carrot, two apricots (dry-fruit), two tablespoons curd and honey as suits you.

2. Scented Punch

If you have five minutes just blend one banana, two tablespoons cocoa powder, one cup of cold milk, and honey as suits you. Also, add this secret smoothie ingredient i.e. one tbsp of Vanilla extract to bring out the other flavors and add a touch of sweetness.

3. Frozen Feast

Behind their adorably fuzzy exterior, peaches are super versatile. You can toss them into a salad, bake them into a pie, or simply eat them whole. Or, of course, you could blend two frozen peaches, two pinches of ground turmeric, one and a half cup of orange juice, and one frozen banana into a juicy frozen smoothie.

4. Tropical Sunshine

Consider this a tropical treat for your taste buds. This smoothie is loaded with one cup of frozen pineapple, one cup of frozen mango, one cup of orange juice and one and a half cup of coconut milk. Try this bright yellow sunshine smoothie to help lift up your mood.

5. Chocolaty Delight

This smoothie is an absolute delight and gives you a holiday feel. Recreate it at home by blending one frozen banana, one tbsp cocoa powder, four tbsp chocolate protein powder, four to five tbsp of peanut butter, and some milk, water, or yogurt (as you like). And BooM, you’re done.

6.Green Power

A dose of ‘green power’ is guaranteed with a smoothie that combines one big handful of spinach, one cucumber, one kiwi, two tbsp of pumpkin seeds, and honey as suits you. It’s the perfect blend with just the right amount of green to give you energy and vitality anytime.

7. Creamy Behavior

This smoothie is deliciously thick and creamy. Grab an apple, a banana, one tbsp soaked chia seeds, two pinches cinnamon powder, two tbsp curd, half cup water, and two tbsp honey and you have everything you need to make and have this ‘creamy behavior’.

8. Fruit Burst

We are out on a limb and guess you’ve never had one cup of pineapple, one kiwi, one cup of orange juice, one glass of coconut water, and a little ginger blended into a smoothie before. But you’ll want to sip on this blend all the time after you try it. Also, it’s one of my super favorite, must-try.

Conclusion

I have provided some of my favorite smoothie recipes above for you all to try. And now when you understand why smoothies are so great and have an idea on how to make them you shall give it a go 🙂

Note: Feel free to switch up the ingredients as you choose. You can also add more water or milk if you don’t like them thick.

Juna Akhara ended up Kumbh Mela running after PM’s request to keep it symbolic

After the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to keep the Kumbh Mela symbolic, the chief of Juna Akhara, Swami Avdheshanand Giri on Saturday ended up running Kumbh Mela in Haridwar in the view of worsening outbreak of the pandemic.

By seeing the prevailing coronavirus crisis hours ago Swami Vivekanand Giri tweets that “Faith is a big thing, but human lives are the most important, we must all realize that the strain of coronavirus was not as huge or fatal earlier as it is now. So my request to the emotional devotees that they should attend the Kumbh in limited numbers.’’ After some time he also tweets that they are ending up the Kumbh Mela from Juna Akhara.

Ending up Kumbh from Juna Akhara did not mean that the Kumbh is called off

However, Juna Akhara move did not mean that the Kumbh is called off, there are still some Akharas like Nirmohi, Nirvani, Digambar who are still going ahead with the ‘Shahi snan’ while the Bairagi Akharas has welcomed PM’s appeal, that they will organize ‘shahi snan’ on April 27, with the proper social distancing.

The majority of people who took part in the last two royal baths violated the Covid19 norms of wearing masks and social distancing. Mahant Narendra Giri and Swami Kapil Dev both were tested positive and admitted to hospitals and one of them Swami Kapil Dev died from the virus.

World’s largest religious gathering may contribute further to the rapid rise in coronavirus cases as already 1,701 people are tested positive there. Views of different Akharas people also differ on the conclusion of Kumbh Mela because of the Coronavirus.

Kumbh Mela returnees should need to be quarantine.

The Madhya Pradesh government said on Saturday that “those who are returning from the ongoing Kumbh Mela should isolate themselves”. The order issued by the Madhya Pradesh chief secretary mentioned “district officials should also provide a dedicated contact number where people can give information about pilgrims returning from the Kumbh”.

Mumbai mayor tweets that “all those returning from Kumbh Mela should be mandatorily quarantined and tested at their expenses”.

People who are returning to Gujarat from Kumbh Mela will have to undergo an RT-PCR test before entering their cities and villages.

Anti-bacterial graphene face masks that interrupt corona virus developed

In the fight against COVID-19, scientists have successfully developed graphene face masks. These graphene face masks have an anti-bacterial efficiency around 80 percent which can also enhance to 100 percent when came in contact with sunlight for around 10 minutes. A study of the City University of Hong Kong said initial tests also showed the auspicious result in the deactivation of two species of coronavirus.

According to the researchers, graphene masks are developed at a low cost and they are non-biodegradable. Commonly used surgical masks are not anti-bacterial and it may cause risk of secondary transmission of bacterial infection when people came in contact.

Graphene masks are better than melt-blown fabric masks and activated carbon masks.

Graphene masks are special and known for their substances. Melt blown fabrics masks have activated carbon masks that have only 9 percent antibacterial efficiency and graphene masks have 80 percent antibacterial efficiency that helps the coronavirus to stay away from us.

How 10 minutes of sunlight increased the effectiveness of masks by 99%?

According to the study, high temperatures will fail the effect of coronavirus. So the team of scientists carried the research of graphene photothermal effect, so the research proves that sunlight will enhance the antibacterial effect to 99.998 percent within 10 minutes of sunlight.
The team is working in laboratories in mainland China for getting graphene material with two species of human coronavirus. The mission is to develop an anti-bacterial and reusable face mask.

Online classes are beneficial with a little drawback

As we all know world is dealing with a pandemic covid19. Everyone is scared and taking precautions to deal with it. Taking all measures and staying away from each other as the virus is spreading from social contacting. Covid19 is a dangerous virus for whom vaccine is not ready till now. From dealing with it we all have to maintain social distancing from each other. Because of virus speeded too much there is lockdown in our country and we are not allowed to go out and studies are also going online.

Why online class?

As the school and college are closed so the studies are going online for every child. First time students are studying online is a big change for them.

Do you think that online classes are good and benefitting for the children?

Studying online is very beneficial at this time when we are not able to go out for the further activities.  Online studying is saving the future and beneficial time which people can lose at this difficult time.

Is everything good online?

Online studying is good but not best it is not giving us that much benefit that we can gain by going to the schools or institutions.  There are also so many difficulties for some student’s for attending online classes. Huge amount of students who don’t have mobile phones and their parents also don’t have mobile phones and they also can’t afford that. Some poor people don’t have money to buy mobiles for their children to study and the studies of their children are lacking behind while others are in process. While studying online in mobile phones or in systems eyesight of the students are getting weak.  Day by day watching screen makes our eye power low which is a very big drawback for studying online. We had listened much news in which nowadays students are doing wrong things online while teacher teaches them. They are making fun of them in class, doing unsuitable comments, doing misuse with their pictures and disturb them by calling them anytime

This is really shameful that they are troubling their teachers who are giving them knowledge. Things which are giving benefit at this time also have some drawbacks like online classes are best for this time as there is no other way but it’s not good for the eyes and the students who are doing unsuitable things are very shameful but dealing with all things and growing is in practice by all which will be best for the future.

Conclusion- Online classes are the best solution in this difficult time but we should have to take advantage of this in spite of creating troubles in anyone life.

People started moving their life as they do in pre COVID19 period they started their workout, studies, job, etc. Now also some people are scared and staying at their home as it is obvious.

Corona virus is a very dangerous virus which has spread all over the world. It’s an virus which is spreading from social contacting. From getting away from this virus people are maintaining social distance from each other. Implementation of lockdown has done because of this virus by which citizens can stay at there home and stay safe. Vaccine of this virus is not prepared yet. Corona warriors like Police, Doctor are fighting from this virus day and night to get rid of this virus. Citizens are also helping them by staying at home and if they are going out then they’re taking so many precautions while going out.

Nowadays people has also started doing workout. They do gym, exercise, morning walk, evening walk, etc to keep their body fit as so many people get obese by staying at home. People are doing walk and exercises by going outside. Workout is very important for ones body. If a person wants to stay healthy then exercise is must for that person. Doing morning walk lower the risk of disease in our body. For the teenagers it helps to loose weight and gives benefit in the future. We should do exercise and stay fit.

Are people taking precautions while going out for morning walk or for workout?

Yes, most of the people are taking precautions while going out for morning walk or any exercise or workout. They are trying to stay safe. People are maintaining distance of 12 feet from every person so that no one can get in touch by mistake. We all have to look straight ahead so that we should notice that who is coming from front and how can we maintain distance and must avoid doing walk or jogging in crowd. Most of the people wear hand gloves while going out if they don’t wear hand gloves then they don’t touch there hands anywhere. By keeping some precautions we will stay safe by going out also.

Should we do exercise while wearing mask?

Wearing a mask while walking, running, jogging or while doing exercise is very risky.  WHO recommend not to wear mask while doing exercise. When we wear mask while doing exercise we will not inhale properly as mask make difficulty to inhale the quantity of air which we needed. A surgical mask increase the resistance to airflow. When we do exercise it leads to a faster and harder breath which is compulsory to pass and if mask was there than it creates difficulty and creates problems in lungs while breathing. When we do heavy exercise our muscles produce lactic acid which causes burning sensation and then it is converted to carbon dioxide and exhaled in which you may re-breath carbon dioxide which can reduce cognitive function and increase breathing rate. At a walk we can wear mask comfortably as that time our intensity is low.

Conclusion-  Take all the precautions while going out. Do not wear mask while doing exercise and stay safe from this deadly virus.

Shooting in time of Pandemic

Global film industries are facing the tough situation due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Let’s start from the beginning, few months ago due to the outbreak of the deadly virus, which is also known as coronavirus. Because of this pandemic virus all the production of films had been lockdown officially and all the talented people who were working front of the camera or behind it were all quarantined.  As the movie studio is filled with hyper active people who works in the close range of proximity and are regularly having physical contact, like in the department of makeup, hair and costumes where the equipments are frequently passed over the crew. All the events such as film festivals or any award ceremony were cancelled. Even the cinema halls were closed (it’s still closed) and the entire industry faced an uncertain financial future.

As cinemas are closed, many big starrer films had chosen to release the film in OTT platform instead of chosen traditional path to theatrical release which is impossible as of now. Films like Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Gulabo Sitabo which was released in Amazon Prime, Vidya Balan’s Shakuntala Devi which was released in hotstar, Shushant singh rajput’s film Dil bechara was released in Disney plus, few days after the demise of him and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl starring Jhanvi Kapoor will release in Netflix. Akshay Kumar`s Laxmmi Bomb is also set to release in Disney plus hotstar, Abhishek Bachan starrer The Big Bull will release in Disney plus Hotstar. and many other films like  Anurag Basu`s Ludo, Sidharth Malhotra`s  Shershaah,  Kiara Advani`s  Indoo Ki Jawaani, Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday`s  Khaali Peeli may or may not release in digital platform in near future. For many members in the film industries are facing financial difficulties due to the lockdown but with the direct-OTT release not only it will push the Indian market with the digital medium but also it will give some relief for many members of the industry.

Are relationships working good at COVID-19?

When the wave of Coronavirus drowned most of the world in uncertainty, we all had shut the doors of our home and quarantine inside the home. All the corona warriors and all the people are fighting with the deadly virus in different ways. Relationships has been effected very much during COVID-19.

People are facing different problems nowadays in their relationship as they are stucked at home and not going out in unlock also because they are scared of this deadly virus. Couples far from each other are facing disturbance in their relationship as we can feel better and understand better each other when we meet on regular basis. They want to meet each other but they can’t as they also want them and their partner to stay safe and we can only stay safe by staying at home. This distance is making their relationship troublesome. There is another aspect of long distance relationship that they are always connected with the digital media platforms like video calls, calls, messages and many more things.  They are understanding the situation and connecting with each other by staying at home and making their bond more powerful than before. Their bond getting more powerful and according to a research 66% relationship has strengthen, only 8% relationship has weekend and there is no impact on 26% relationships.

27% people started dating in lockdown, 29%tied the knot recently and 44% got married. 13% couple stays together during lockdown to spend some time with each other. More than 41% couple spent time together more than 20 hours. Living couple together makes their bond strong and trustful. They are doing many new things together like getting new skills of making good food, doing exercise for their healthy body, making videos, entertaining people,  spending lovable time and knowing each other at their best. On the other hand their are also many cases of divorce between couples. Some are getting irritated by staying together. In china’s Shaanxis province when the office reopen then they found 32 million cases of divorce. A women tweets that ‘ the first thing I want after pandemic is divorce’. In China divorce case are very high this time. While couples are staying at home together but every time they get irritated from each other creates distance between them. Domestic violence cases has increased too much  durimh lockdown. Women felt insecure by staying at their home only. Schools, colleges and office are closed so there is a new change of homeschooling and work from home which is very beneficial but also created disruption in family. House work and the work of office clashes and troubles sometime. Doing work at home or studying at home is not so much suitable as their is problems relating noice, children, neighbors, etc. Financial crisis also disturbs the relationship.

Getting in relation with someone new is risky at this time as we are not able to meet and get to know the reality of any one. So it is not good to get new relations with unknowns. Online dating can be fake like there is many methods where anyone can make fake profile and do illegal things. Even many people hide their relationship status on social media for not facing unwanted opinions and judgments. Many people don’t like anyone giving them any advice or judge them on the basis of their pictures. Another reason for keeping relationship secret are noosy relatives.

Not only the relationship between couples, relationship between family members has also effected too. Family members staying together, getting to know more about each other, making their relation strong, they are understanding each other better and getting much about them. There is not only positive effect on family relation but negative also. There are also some clashes happening in family which is not good for the people living together. This time relation between friends has increased as they got more time to talk via social media platforms. People also learn to stay happy alone as they learn their importance and the value of time.

So relationship had effected too much at the time of Covid19. Huge changes had come in the life of people which will be good in the future when the things get recoverd.

COVID-19 and the need for action on Mental Health

Due to the outbreak of the infamous virus (COVID-19) globally, we all are stuck in our home, hoping to go out. But with the cases which are increasing day by day, we are restricting ourselves to move out, we only go out of the house for emergency purposes like buying groceries or any other related items for our home. As the cases are increasing, we sometimes forget to take care of our mental health as it is equally important as our physical health. We always stress over small things, which eventually leads to bigger problems in the near future. Because the cases are increasing rapidly worldwide, it is also giving us the great amount of fear or concerns for our grandparents or the person who is suffering from a serious illness, who is more prone to this deadly virus if he or she moves out of the house in emergency cases.

Basically, Mental Health is a psychological condition of an individual, which means the way people talk, feel, think, react or behave. We can also call it as an absence of mental illness. Mental Health can easily affect the relationships, physical health and daily life activities due to stress, anxiety or depression which interrupts a person’s personal routine.  In Mental Health there is a factor of age, sex, ethnicity or income, so everyone has some risk of developing these mental health issues, as in India estimated by World Health Organization (WHO) that the mental health problem is 2,443 DALYs per 100,000 populations and the age- adjusted suicide rate per 100,000 populations is 21.1 per cent. People who are going through financial problems or being part of marginalized can also have high chances to increase the risk of mental health due to these entire burdens. India being the second-most populous country in the world, it shares the large number of people who are suffering from these mental health issues, such as, Depression, Bipolar mood disorder, Anxiety disorder, Schizophrenia, and an eating disorder.

So, because of this deadly virus (COVID-19), most of the places have restricted the social activities and the hospitals are flooding with COVID-19 patients, many problems related to mental health are emerging such as Anxiety, depression, stress, frustration and uncertainty about the future in the time of the rapid increase of the COVID-19 cases. Because, of the worldwide lockdown, teacher’s started teaching their students through online through zoom or Whatsapp but with online teaching there was end number of projects faced by students to complete by the allotted date which was the same date for almost all the subjects. This created pressure for students to complete their work so that they get marks to pass. No end semester exams where conducted, so instead of exams students faced projects, and there where many students who dint have proper gadgets to use for the projects, which was a burden to them. As the day by day increasing cases of coronavirus in the city, exams were cancelled; this resulted in disappointment between the senior students who prepared hard for their exams. Not being able to go out to meet the friends of their school or colleges, which are making them bored, frustrated or homesick because of lack of interpersonal communication. These all things are affecting and making them feel distressed due to loss of control, financial loss or having fear of getting this deadly virus to themselves or one of their family members. Many of the people are suffering from anxiety, due to the increasing cases of COVID-19 and the deaths relating to that virus or the deaths of their closed one, which is affecting them mentally, making them uncertain about their future. As the people who are not able to go out of their house, regarding the unpleasant situation, it’s affecting them as irritability, anger, confusion, loneliness, insomnia or suicidal thoughts. There are many people in various countries, who are not able to meet their family in their hometown because of this virus which is rapidly spreading and are stuck in the country full of the stranger. Because of this situation, the economy of the country is low and many lost their job, which leads to financial crises where they are having a difficult time to pay the fees or running the house for the family. All these current problems are giving high chances to fall in the mental health problems, which will give the negative consequences if we do not deal with this as early as possible.

There are no physical tests or scan which tell that if a person is having a mental illness or not, but there are some symptoms, which will give some possible signs of the mental illness such as:-

  • Feeling sad or down for quiet a sometime
  • Being confused or not able to concentrate properly
  • Excessive sleeping or not having proper sleep
  • Excessive eating or having a low amount of food
  • Having extreme mood swings of High and lows
  • Spending too much time alone, disengaging with family, friends and colleagues
  • Felling of low energy or tiredness or not able to sleep
  • Showing negative emotions
  • Feeling of hopelessness
  • Having an excessive amount of alcohol or drug for your mood
  • Having drastic changes in eating
  • Not able to complete the day to day task, which you are good at
  • Showing the extreme amount of anger or violence
